Santiago Sanz Estébanez, PhD

I received the Telecommunication Engineering degree from the University of Valladolid, Spain. After writing my Mater Thesis' I joined the Image Processing Laboratory, where, now, I work towards the Ph.D. since 2014 with a Predoctoral Grant by the Spanish Junta de Castilla y León and the European Research Development Fund. My main research interests consist of motion compensation techniques applied to myocardial tissue characterization and strain estimation both in MR-Cine and MR-Tagging, using HARP tecniques, along with image registration procedures focused on the liver for the abdominal motion artifacts correction and robust ADC estimation in Diffusion Weighted Imaging.
